REVAMP WORLD :

⦿ Unique tale of defying odds to find success :

The country of US was taring problem with the practice of slavery , whites owned large farms in southern states and they used to call black people to work in their field and were kept as slaves. At this difficult time, he was elected as president of US in 1860. He wanted to solve the problem of slavery and wanted all states to be united. But the southern peoples were against the abolition of slavery. He faced many problems and had  greatest struggles to protect the unity . Finally a civil war broke out between northern and southern states. He fought it bravely and declared ,

"A nation cannot exist half tree and half slave"

He won the war and the country remained united . He spent most of his time familiarizing law rules and regulations and started advocating later. On March 4 , 1861 , he took the position of president . Due to his antagonism of slavery , the fire of protest increased . So that , a war burst out in America and won in 6 years by Lincoln. The election of headstate held in 1860 . In Feb 1861 , he announced the exit of the union of eleven states . Concoction Factuality :

The only president to have received a patent ,  Lincoln designed a boat that could , with inflatable devices , clear sandbars in a river . The inspiration for the invention was his observation that riverboats on the Ohio or even the Mississippi could get struck trying to cross the shifting obstacles of slit that would build up in the river .

Lincoln's fascination with technology extended to the telegraph . He relied on telegraphic messages while living in Illinois in the 1850s . And in 1860 he learned about his nomination as the Republican canditate via a telegraph message. On Election Day that November , he spent much of the day at a local telegraph office until word flashed over the wire that he had won . As a president , Lincoln used the telegraph extensively to communicate with generals in the field during the Civil War .
