WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE

Primeval life :

                                            

        William Shakespeare, renowned dramatist was assumed to be lustrated on April 23 , 1564 but as per the church records he was baptised on April 26 , 1564 , Stratford upon Avon ,Warwickshire, UK.

His parents were John Shakespeare and Mary Arden. Shakespeare was well  known as  'England's National poet' and  'Bard of Avon'  which means travelling poet near Avon city. His siblings were Gilbert, Richard , Edmund, Margaret, Anne, Joan. He went Stratford Grammar's School called King Edward VI school where he studied formal education for seven years until the age of fourteen . There he studied classics,  literature,  Latin Grammar and also about Latin authors like Virgil, Cicero, Seneca which focus mainly on his literary training . He was well versed in logics and rhetoric phrases .

Marital life :

           

      At the age of 18 , he married a pregnant orphan , Anne Hathaway in 1582 . This was not sure but episcopal registry signed by Sandellets , Richardson for marriage license proves his marriage . Until 1582 , he lived with his family on Henly street . He had three infants  :  Sussana Hall and twins Hamnet Shakespeare and Judith Quiney . Hamnet shakespeare died when he was 11 years old. 

Theatrical Beginnings : 

    

       From 1585  - 1592 , there was no information about him . His name was first referenced in literary work of Robert Greene. Robert painted the insults and sarcasm faced by Shakespeare in dramatic world . He moved around London in 1587 . During that time he was influenced by Renaissance culture . He started his first theatre work from there . After the death of Elizabeth Jacobean , he started writing his plays and poems with humorous yet Dark portrayal . He joined Lord Chamberlain company . In 1593 , the theatres were  closed due to plague , this made him to try hand written poetry .  He wrote his first published poem for Henry Wriothesley , 3rd earl of Southampton . The name of the poems are Venus ,  Adonis and The rape of Lucrece .

' Venus and Adonis ' -  depicts sexual advancement of venus and eventual rejection of Adonis. 

' The Rape Of Lucrece ' -  depicts the turmoil of Lucrece raped by Tarquin .

In 1694 , he became an important member in Lord chamberlain company . Lord Chamberlain company had best artist ,

                                Romeo and Juliet

          Romeo and Juliet belongs to two squabble families of Verona : Montagues , father of Romeo and capulets , father of Juliet. On a hot summer day , Capulet's family planned for a feast. Capulet aim is to introduce his daughter Juliet to Paris and he wants them to get married. Romeo and his friends joint the feast. Romeo went to saw his beloved Rosaline at the feast but accidently met Juliet and started falling for her. When Juliet's cousin Tybalt noticed Romeo, he forced Romeo out of the party hall. Romeo lingers near Juliet house to talk to her, Juliet appears through the window. They both discovered each other. The very next day, Romeo and Juliet secretly married with the help of Juliet's nurse . Tybalt challenged Romeo for fight but Romeo refused to fight and  send his friend Mercutio . Unfortunately Mercutio was killed by Tybalt , after that Romeo revenged and killed Tybalt and he was banished by the prince.

               After Tybalt funeral, Capulet family decided Juliet marriage with Paris. Juliet refused to marry Paris and she didn't told them about the secret marriage. Friar Laurence , helped Romeo and Juliet . Friar gave sleeping pills to Juliet and cheated Capulet family by saying that Juliet was dead. Friar send a secret message to Romeo, that ''Juliet was not dead , she was in deep sleep .....You come and take her with you'' . But this message didn't reach Romeo at the correct time because of the plague in Verona. The servant of Romeo informed about the death of Juliet. Romeo bought a poison box from Apothecary in Mantua and went to Verona and killed the mourning Paris. And he takes the poison and died. After sometime Juliet waked from the drugged coma , she came to know about the death of Romeo and bayonet herself. After the death of Romeo and Juliet their families regret from their feuding. They erected a monument for Romeo and Juliet.

Legacy and work :

   Shakespeare's first play was a history play called Henry VI part II was performed in 1589-1591 at his age of 25. It was performed in Globe theatre , Southwark district , London. At the age of 29, he started writing Sonnets . The first sonnet was  Venus and Adonis. His longest play is Hamnet based on the first edition of  riverside Shakespeare. His work is of  4 types : tragedy ( death & sad ), comedy (happy endings) , history ( monuments and dramas ) and romance (love , often ends in wedding). He was extremely innovative. He adopted traditional and conventional styles in his own by adding metaphors and rhetorical phrases. He credited nearly 3000 words to English. His works are second most often quoted after bible.

Ruining :

    He sort out to his home at the age of 51 and died on his 52nd birthday , April 23 . There were two years of his life where no information exist after the birth of his twins in 1585 . Scholars called this period as "lost years".No letters survived but a private letter written by Richard Quiney had found in which Shakespeare was addressed as "To my loving good friend and countrymen, Mr.William Shakespeare . In 1623 , two fellow actors and friends of him namely : John Heminges & Henry Condell publishes more definitive text known as " First Folio ".
